Recording Artist So'lo

Coming from a family of multiple musicians, singers, preachers, evangelists, evangelists, while having musically gifted parents Solomon almost had no excuse but to love ministry and music.  Shying away from the calling over the years allowed him to branch out and work on other projects close to his heart including dancing, writing, and business theory.  Solomon's upbringing has been and remains the main driving force behind his decision to produce and sing life-changing music.

 Solomon Boyd was born in New York City.  He grew up in Brooklyn, where he went to church and learned the ways of the Lord. Later his family moved to Philadelphia. He always had a love for music and singing became his passion. Solomon was encouraged to be a part of a group in Grade School and High School. He soon started receiving awards, including Most Talented. He went on to make a name for himself and started performing on talent shows with his group. They began to gain popularity. They gave performances at Uptown Theatre, Unity Day, Community College of Philadelphia, Second Cousin and McGonigle Hall. They soon caught the eye of Ricky and Ronnie of “New Edition." This relationship opened many doors for the group.  The decision was made to relocate to California where they learned what it took to become and remain in demand.
